My name is Hanan, and I am the founder of the Not Another Home Movie™ storytelling and filmmaking process, which I developed as a Master's film student to help mothers in my community create family films. I have been teaching this process at George Washington University, to undergraduates of all majors, since 2022.
Now, this process is going global through the Not Another Home Movie™ Film Festival, a hybrid event held annually at George Washington University to celebrate authentic family films from around the world.
